Dr. Saumya Selvaraj, MD, CCFP

Dr. Saumya Selvaraj received her medical degree in her hometown of Saskatoon at the University of Saskatchewan before completing her Family Medicine residency through the University of Calgary. Dr. Selvaraj is passionate about preventive healthcare and believes strongly in the role of lifestyle management as a key intervention in the treatment of chronic diseases and conditions. She enjoys working alongside patients in a collaborative manner when it comes to their medical care. Dr. Selvaraj was first exposed to the CWMC® as a resident physician during her training and quickly identified with the vision and approach of the clinic. She believes in the power of a strong multi-disciplinary team and enjoys working with her colleagues to empower her patients and improve their health. When she is not working at the CWMC®, Dr. Selvaraj works at a family practice and youth clinic. She has a special interest in women's health and small procedures. She loves to travel, experiment in the kitchen, and explore the outdoors.
