Dr. Marcella Cronkhite, MD, MCFP

Dr. Marcella Cronkhite is very passionate about providing patient-centered, evidence-based medical care, and has an interest in women’s health and weight management. She first worked with the CWMC® team during her residency training, and was impressed with the holistic nature of the approach taken at the clinic when supporting clients with their weight management goals. After practicing in general family practice for nearly two years, she has decided to focus on weight management, working primarily in the CWMC® clinic and also part time in a family medicine clinic.

Dr. Cronkhite graduated from Dalhousie Medical School in 2013, then moved to Calgary to complete her residency training in Family Medicine. Prior to medical school she obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Nursing at the University of New Brunswick, and practiced as a registered nurse prior to attending medical school.
