Dr. Emilie Vo-Tigley, MD, CCFP

Medical Doctor at Calgary Weight Management Centre

Dr. Vo-Tigley immigrated to Calgary, AB, in 1980. She obtained her MD degree at the University of Calgary and did her family medicine residency at the University of Alberta. Prior to joining the CWMC, she had a thriving practice in family medicine in Calgary for over 20 years. Although finding her family practice fulfilling, she was often frustrated by the lack of time and resources dedicated to the prevention and treatment of obesity in family medicine. Dr. Vo-Tigley has always had a strong interest in preventative health, in particular, the nutrition and exercise aspects of health.

Dr. Vo-Tigley is currently dedicating her professional life fully to the Calgary Weight Management Centre. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, and travelling.
